The Dumas Economic Development Corporation is a community based organization, supported by the "4b Sales Tax for Economic Development," whose mission is to promote planned and diversified growth and the creation of new jobs, while maintaining and enhancing the areas quality of life.

The mission will be accomplished through pro-active initiatives in the retention or expansion of existing business; the recruitment of targeted business, and "growing our own" business through cooperation with the West Texas A&M University Enterprise Network and in the end, the retention of our youth through job creation and advancement.
