Performanced Based Incentives

Performance Based Incentives

The Dumas EDC administers funds generated by a half-cent economic development sales tax in Dumas. A portion of these funds is used for performance-based cash incentives. The amount of the incentive is determined by the value a qualifying company's capital investment and payroll bring to the City of Dumas.

Benefits:
A cash grant is available to new and expanding companies in the Dumas area.

Qualifications:
Only "basic industry" companies are eligible to receive a cash incentive. Qualifying companies are required to sign mutually accepted performance agreements based on capital investment and/or payroll and maintain a physical location and conduct business in the City of Dumas/Moore County for a specified period of time. An economic and fiscal impact analysis will be conducted for each applicant for incentives. Three years of financial statements are required for credit worthiness analysis. A thorough background check and credit check of a business and/or individual is also required.
