WHY DUMAS

A great place to live, work, and invest

Dumas is the county seat of Moore County, Texas, located approximately 40 miles north of Amarillo along US 287 — one of the nation's most important north-south trade corridors. With a population of around 14,500, Dumas is large enough to offer real amenities, and small enough that your business actually matters to the people running this town.

Dumas' positive business environment is matched by a strong quality of life. The cost of living is consistently below the U.S. average, the community is tight-knit and growing, and there's more to do here than most people expect.
